What we delivered

What we learned

  • Presentation matters. Individually branded packages — not bulk delivery — made recipients feel seen and celebrated.

  • Community partners say yes. Senior centers are eager for this kind of program and easy to work with.

  • The model works. One student, one community partner, one delivery — 145 smiles.

  • An intimate gathering, a very personal moment

  • Every senior received a branded treat and words of affection

  • Custom event signage displayed around the event

What we learned

  • Two smaller treats in one package let seniors enjoy some now and save, or share, some for later.

  • Timing creates connection. Delivering when residents already gather makes it easier to interact and turn the drop-off into a shared experience.

  • Caregivers deserve a smile, too. A few extra treats are a simple way to recognize the people who care for residents every day.
